THE FORCE OF FAITH

James 2:14

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?

This is the year of the Lord. 2018 is an amazing year for us. This year, we expect nothing, but victory. We are going to experience breakthroughs like never before. Every hindrance shall break down. Every mountain shall become plain ground. How? The force of our faith shall manifest in testimonies.

Am I talking to somebody in this place? You might be sitting there thinking everything that could go wrong last year went wrong. And you can’t get over the heat of what hit you. But no year in the past can compare to what God is going to do this year, because your heart is going to operate under the force of faith. And your life will be filled with the results of your exploits.

Last year, you might have faced some impossible challenges. And you can sit there recollecting all the things that did not go well, all the difficulties, all the conflicts, all the failures, all the disappointments, all the sadness and tears. And you are looking out for more bad news this year. But you can instead choose to get positive, and believe for great and mighty things in 2018.

What is faith? Faith is the hope in God, which becomes the irresistible force on your inside that forces you to do things on the outside, regardless of what you see. Your mind can tell you it is difficult, but you do it. You think you might fail, but you do it. You think it is impossible, but you step on it anyway, believing that God, in whom you put your faith, will step in and work it out. To you, ‘Impossible’ is what they say. Impossible is what you think. Impossible is NOT what God says. With God all things are possible. He is the CEO of the universe. He can make the impossible possible. Hebrews 11:1; Luke 1:37.

But faith by itself is not going to find you the solution. Faith is the force that forces you to find the solution. Faith is the force that prompts you into action with all passion. Faith that does not lead to action has no force, no power. James 2:17.

Jacob knew he inherited the blessings of Abraham. Yet he remained a servant to Laban. But when he keyed into that blessing by faith, he knew what to do. And the heaven breathed on his ideas. And Jacob prospered. When you key into the promise of God by faith, the force of faith will open up your head to know what to do, and the Most High will pave your way with favor, open doors, breakthrough, and success. Genesis 30:37-39.

But where there is no faith, there is no force on the inside to force you to do something about the outside. That man was lying down by the pool of Bethesda for 38 years. He was close to the water, but never went in. He only watched others go in the pool to get their healings. If he had faith pushing him on the inside, I bet he could have crawled to the water in all these years. Many are like this guy. They are so close to their miracles, but never get it, because no force on the inside pushing them on. John 5:1-15.

When you have a promise or a vision, and you believe God has given it to you, you are not going to sit there expecting miracles to fall on your lap. You just go for it. No reluctance. No hesitation. You don’t need no compliment or applause either. The force of your faith will let you fight on, and not give up. No matter how you run, you won’t get tired. No matter how you walk, you won’t get weary. You just got to do this. Circumstances can’t stop you. Obstacles cannot stop your miracles. With the force of faith pushing you, nothing but success will do.

You cannot sit on what you believe. Isaac did not sit on it. He planted in the dry land, and became very prosperous. Jacob did not sit on it. He cut the poplar tree, laid it under the animals, and became his own boss. Genesis 26:12-13; 30:37-39.

You are not going to sit there expecting God to pay you for what He did not buy. The force of your faith would force you into action. You got to go for it. The faith is in you. Don’t doubt it. Don’t be afraid. You got the faith in you. Force it on that situation. And when the Lord sees your faith, He will honor it, and bless you. Psalm 1:3.

When you have faith, your faith will cause God to make way where there is no way. You may have some big challenges in your way. And it may look like you are losing the battle. Or maybe, you are caught in a dry season. And you think it’s never going to work again. You need to shake off the dust of doubt and self-pity, and believe God. When you release your faith, angels would go to work, doors will be opened, chains would be broken, and victory will come your way.

Have you ever thought about how the Children of Israel went round the wall of Jericho for seven days without seeing any result until they shouted on the 7th day? It was the force of faith in them that was pushing them on. Some of you may be around that wall 5, 6 days, and you think nothing is going to happen. But if you keep your faith high, your 7th day will come. Joshua 7.

Between you and your destiny there will always be a Jericho. But the Devil has not erected a high wall that can stand against the force of faith put in the Most High. You might think this wall is so big. You think it’s impossible to break through. The size of the wall does not count under the force of faith. Let faith rise up in your heart. And your Jericho will sink into the ground.

You want to live the abundant life. It’s only when you are set free that you begin to live. You cannot be caught up on drug or alcohol, or in debts, or be locked up in prison, or bondage, or under yoke, or generational curses and maximize your potentials. You need deliverance. You cannot be stuck on bitterness, grudge, hate, or unforgiveness, and be all you can be. You need to be set free. And faith is the key. The force of your faith will break every chain on your ankles, and unlock your spirit and strengthen you for great exploits. John 10:10.

Paul and Silas were put in prison for preaching the Gospel. But in the night, faith swelled up in their hearts, that their God would not forsake them. He would surely come for their rescue. Instead of falling into self pity, they started to sing praises to God. And God sent an earthquake that burst open all the doors of the prison. And they had to plead with them to please go. Acts 16:16-40; Hebrews 13:5.

If you can dig your feet in and release the faith in you, God will turn what is meant for your hurt, and use it to bless you. He will not only set you free. He will go before you with favor and honor so you can maximize your potentials.

And if you get to a place where you seem to have lost it all, the force of faith will reverse the negative situations and restore you to glory. Lazarus was dead and buried four days. He was already rotting and stinking when Jesus came. Jesus wept. Yes. But that did not raise Lazarus up. It was Jesus’ faith that His Father would never fail Him that forced Lazarus out of the grave alive. John 11:41-42.

Some things might seem done and over, and appear to be dead. It might be your relationship with your spouse or children. It might be your job, business, or career. Faith will start you afresh, and fill your days with fresh breath, fresh anointing, revived hope, and renewed strength.

You might be struggling with some sickness. And the Medical Report is not looking good. Don’t talk yourself down. Let faith take over your heart. And the Word of God will do the healing. Psalm 107:20.

King Hezekiah was terminally sick. And God sent the Prophet Isaiah to go tell him to pack his last bag. He must die. But the King simply asked the Prophet to leave. And he faced the wall to talk to God. He cried. It did not work. He said, “I deserve more years.” It did not work. But when he showed God his faith in His Word that he “would not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord,” God sent Isaiah back to go tell the King he would not die. Isaiah 38:18; Psalm 118:17.

Isaiah was not a fake prophet. And his message was not false prophecy. But your faith can change God’s mind. If you will believe Him that He can reverse the irreversible. Your faith can cause God to come back and give you all that you have missed. He will add more to your years. He will renew your youth, and revive your hope.

When the enemy comes with his attack, you don’t show him your Mercedes, or your Gucci shoes. You show him your faith. The only force that can force the devil out of your life is faith. The moment you release your faith, the enemy knows he has lost the battle. And all the forces of darkness begin to tremble. Why? The moment you believe that you cannot lose this battle, the Hosts of heaven will be released to fight for you.

King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah were attacked by three stronger enemies. But the king believed in Jehovah God. And the Lord sent His angels to fight the enemies, while the king and his people were singing praises. 2 Chronicles 20.

Even if your situation looks like it’s impossible, if you will not be moved by what you see, but be moved by what you believe, and you keep your faith strong, God will do His part, and fight your fight, and bring the victory, the healing, the blessing, the breakthrough, and open doors.

Because of the experiences of the past, some of you have lost the fire for exploits. And you think this year is going to be like before. But from this day, turn on your faith. Start believing God again. You will hear His promises again. Your head will open to what to do. And you will become fruitful and successful. And those difficulties you could not beat last year, you will overcome them all this year.

Someone here, you have lost so much in your life. You have lost people. You have lost possessions and positions. Now you are hurting, and feeling disappointed and dejected. Now you are doubtful. You are fearful and tearful. But if you dare to believe God again, He will take your scars and turn them into stars.

When you believe, the force of your faith will open supernatural doors before you, wipe out the cloud over your mind, break chains off your legs, and cause your dreams to come to pass. And like Jacob, divine ideas will occur to you. Like Paul and Silas, you will be set free. Like Joshua, your walls of obstacles will fall down. Like King Jehoshaphat, God will turn your mourning into dancing. And you will possess your possessions.

Amen

LET'S PRAY:

Lift up your two hands and confess your faith:

CONFESS:
This year
Faith is going to be my force
Last year, I believed some
The devil thought it was a joke
But this year
I am going to show the enemy
The force of faith is my power unto victory

I PRAY FOR YOU:
The Lord will set you high above all nations
He will lift you up in praise, in fame, and honor
He will make you bold with strength in your soul
And you will rejoice with singing

I believe and prophesy
Whatever stood in your way before now
This month, they shall give way
You will hear good news this month

So shall it be
And it is so
In mighty name of Jesus

Thank You, Father Lord

AMEN.

Do you key into your victory today?
If you do,
Then, give God a shout of victory
